Montreal-based company spent nearly $1-million reinforcing the structure of its factory near Dhaka
I cannot believe brands like Gildan are getting praised by anyone. To pretend they have any sort of corporate responsibility is complete bullshit. They just own their factories vertically, and with all of the garment worker industry exposure in the past year, they don’t want their reputation...

Recount of the Dead Bird
Saw the awesomest ironically gruesomest most ominous symbol today. On our way to Wag-a-bag (Talia, Ana S, Jesus and I) Ana pointed out a dead bird by the trashcan. I could not find it and asked several times where she had seen it. I don’t know why I have such an infatuation with dead things, maybe it’s the calmness of a motiveless organism just lying there. The Rabbi's Cat
“Then they prayed, both of them. One facing Jerusalem, and the other Mecca. And they danced. The sheikh took his oud and lent the rabbi a tarbuka drum and they danced and sang and laughed and they couldn’t have been more drunk if they’d been drinking.”
